Signs of fierce ovulation

When you start tearing up during those godawful Today Throws a Martha Stewart Wedding montages. Can't wait for the Zales holiday commercials to start back up.

On the bright side, Pachelbel's Canon has officially secured its place in hell. So the morning's not a complete wash.

Update: After a few comments, I feel the need to clarify: My eyes well up at just about anything. Even Superbad.

Social networking officially crosses a line

friend: omg. this girl I used to babysit for has 2 kids and is about to have another (I haven't seen her since she was 12 or so). she facebooked me and her status updates are all "debbie ellis-roth is ONE CENTIMETER DILATED!!"
friend: I swear to god
me: ok, that's pretty fucking amazing.
friend: I kind of want to block her
friend: we really barely knew each other!
friend: I mean she's actually literally giving us the status of her CERVIX.
